From Recalled Glendora Major John Harrold 's Web site.
Looks like the joke is out of the bottle.
Johnny Eagle 1 post 20-Aug-2008 7:59 PM What is the status of the proposed Glendora Council Districts initiative? Are the petitions still being circulated? When is the deadline to turn in the signatures?
Maria R 8 post s 21-Aug-2008 2:30 PM I think they got the signatures then found out one of the gatherers did things wrong and you know John - Follow the law by the book. There's not really a time limit its just changes when it will be voted on. I'm anxious to see what happens. It was so easy to get signatures, maybe we could do a recall instead. People really don't like the council - especially Gary and Doug.
M.O.M. 4 post s 21-Aug-2008 5:32 PM When signatures were gathered for the Assisted Living at Bonnie Cove and Gladstone (too HIGH, too DENSE business in a residential neighborhood) many, many Glendora voters thought it was a recall petition, and were extremely disappointed when they found out it wasn't. After collecting signatures for the Districting Plan, and hearing so many of the same Glendora voters are still unhappy with this City Council and the direction they are taking our city (and lots of NEW voices raising their displeasure and concerns also), it's very hard to imagine how in the world Tessitor, Clifford and Herman got re-elected. And good luck to Kelly and Daivs "IF" they run again. People are so disappointed in both of them. What's that saying, fool me once..........
Johnny Eagle 2 post s 21-Aug-2008 7:24 PM I thought John H. didn't have anything to do with the District's inititave.
Maria R 9 post s 21-Aug-2008 10:08 PM What, you don't think they talk to him. Of course they ask for advice, it's only natural. Especially since John's the only one standing between the city leaders and the all out extreme intimidation that used to happen in this town. You know, rocks through the window, pipe bombs on the porch. Throwing those that disagree against a wall and telling them to shut up. The tactics were much more harsh before John came along.
Today I was visited by another inspector. At the time I had two pro cars in front a 1954 Cadillac hearse and a 68 Cadillac hearse.
Oh, he decided that it was necessary to come with a police officer too, as to intimidate me into complying with city code. Which they still wont tell me. They said it requires a legal opinion. They said that I cannot have a funeral related car on the property stating that it my be contaminated with body fluids and posed a threat.
I have to remove them along with the other cars immediately. I have had about enough!. I'm in the middle of building a web site about the city of Glendora, good, bad & indifferent. I will be posting all of the city codes too. Which they say I cannot do.
Please alos anuone who called, wrote or emailed to the city for me let me know so I can have a list of supporters and I dont misrepresent myself. Please continue to help and support me and the preservation of the classic auto. If you havent allready emailed the information to Glendora City Hall please do so now.

What will his scandalmongers do, looks like that closes the web site.
MINUTES CITY OF GLENDORA CITY COUNCIL
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
COMBINED REGULAR MEETING
JULY 27, 1999
7B Adin Rudd, a Glendora resident, said many speakers have indicated that John Harrold is a left wing socialist because the union supported him in the last election. Mr. Rudd said Mr. Harrold’s citizen volunteers ranged from conservative Republicans to liberal Democrats. He said many people don’t want a Sam’s Club or Home Depot because they are non-union. Others don’t want it because it risks ruining small businesses and neighborhoods. He said Mr. Harrold is an elected member of the L.A. County Republican Central Committee and past president of the Glendora California Republican Assembly. Mr. Rudd said the Glendora Police Officers Association and union endorsed three candidates other than Jacobs and Harrold. He said several of the alternatives that Harrold and Jacobs are proposing for the area involve a non-union workforce. Mr. Rudd said we don’t have to agree with one another to be friendly with one another.
7E Brad Posey, a Glendora resident, referred to a flier that was put on his door. The flier was signed by Paul G. Marshall, Jr. and relates to the 80 acres at Gladstone and Lone Hill. He said the flier has all the Councilmembers listed on it and implies that the City Council has endorsed the flier. The flier also uses an e-mail address at Bonita School and Mr. Posey said the school is probably not endorsing the program referred to in the flier. He said the flier supports a proposal to make a park on property that has been set aside for years as a commercial development. Mr. Posey said the property would cost approximately $25 million and the City does not have that kind of money. He said if the City were to buy it, there would be additional costs to build the park facilities that are mentioned in the flier. Mr. Posey said the City would then have to staff it with park personnel and police officers. Mr. Posey said this would be a regional park facility
Look at his history and the crap he allows on his web site.
Harrold’s number one enemies are those that in his sick mind have taken away his “rightful” place leading this city.
Tessitor stood up to his rantings against city staff years ago. Later he stood up to Harrold’s oppposition to the Marketplace. After Harrold, went nuts and fired the commissioners, the city attorney and the city manager in a 90 day period of time, Tessitor participated in forming the recall effort.
Art Ludwick, who had always been a non-participant in local politics, was concerned enough to take an active role in the recall.
It was these actions that were the catalyst for Harrold’s obsession with the Ludwicks and Tessitor. If Harrold wasn’t such an insignificant part of the history of this city at this point, I’m sure that the Ludwicks would have had Harrold in court because of the slander he has perpetrated. Tessitor is a public figure, and as is frequently pointed out, would have no chance to contest the Harrold’s lies.
The fact is they hold a much larger position in Harrold’s life than he does in theirs. I can only imagine Harrold sitting up at night scheming his revenge on these two men that destroyed his 15 minutes of notoriety.
Harrold’s followers have embellished the fantasy that he created and created myths of epic proportions to fit Harrold’s imaginings.
The Harroldites should be pitied. Their dreams of revenge will destroy them - not the people that have done so much for this community. I’m sure that bothers Harrold more than anything
They gave me six days to remove all cars or it will be court. I cannot remove them that fast. Seeing how I work during the week as do most people.
They say three neighbors complained. They told me they came onto the property and and counted cars. Ever since I voiced out about the seat belt tickets I've been harrased to no end.
Allso about the hearses. They are trying to cover their rear end at my expense. They say they don't consider my cars collector or historical cars.
Today I tried to get historical plates for the cars at the DMV and I was denied. There are too many things like this going on woith me to think they are not related.
I will be holding a protest every weekend at city hall in Glendora. All are welcome to protest the treatment for lack of a better term of my cars and collector cars and pro cars in general.
Glendora City Hall 116 E. Foothill Blvd. Glendora, CA 91741 They want the hearses gone too. If I can't find a place to put them they will be halled away at my expense and crushed.

When is Kristin Parisi, who is usually on Recalled Glendora Mayor John Harrold's show, going to demand an EIR for that site?
anon unless zoning code # 21 is in the rte 66 specific plan, IT DOES NOT APPLY. Only codes in the rte 66 specific plan apply to developments that fall under the rte 66 specific plan B4its2LATE! on August 5, 2008
The Rt 66 Specific Plan is part of Section 21 "Zoning Codes", which is part of the Municipal code.
Its online - read the dang thing so you know what the heck you are talking about
Like Glendora Developer suggested you should spend time reading the specific plan and find out for yourself rather then commenting on what you have heard from others who may or may not have read or understood the plan, or have their own agendas.
"You know, B4 does have a point, though. I look at the area in which I grew up, which is County Covina. Developers purchsed (?) single family houses, and in their place, built high density housing. They've got fifty families living where there were four. The area has gone to pot, and property vaules aren't all that great. There is crime, grime, and plenty of graffiti. It might not sound politically correct, but all of those high density housing units ruined what was once a nice place to live."
So does this mean you have the same concerns as I over the size and density allowed under the rte 66 specfic plan of "MIXED USE HIGH DENSITY HOUSING DEVELOPMENTS"?
I still have my own persoanel concerns over some of the details and actions taken by some of the councilmen in regards to MP and DR.
But the MP and Diamond Ridge are built. I hope they are and will continue to be a positive tax revenue generators for the city of Glendora.
Like I said I like what I saw on pg7 of the Glendora Report in regards to hte change of zoning
unless zoning code # 21 is in the rte 66 specific plan, IT DOES NOT APPLY. Only codes in the rte 66 specific plan apply to developments that fall under the rte 66 specific plan
and again it is this council and staff (culver heaton) that has said the city is developed out. So it seems the only way to go is up.
Stop building single family homes and build home on top of home on top of home...this will change Glendora.
unlike the development that has taken place since you moved here in the 70's, of mostly single family residence
As i was told previously by a supporter of this council,
the rte 66 specific plan sets the guidlines/codes and as long as a development follows the guidlines/codes set by the rte 66 specific plan, the development need no further input from the CC or PC.
All the developer need do is submit the plans as long as they follow the rte66 specific plan.
