The city of Glendora will provide you with trees for the parkway for free (free trees and free planting).  Depending on the size of the parkway you could get up to 3 per parkway.  If you're interested contact Hala Speaker in Community services at 626) 672-5005.  She'll help you choose a tree that you'll like and won't rip up your sidewalk, etc.  It's a great deal & a great way to provide shade & add greenery to your yard!  Please let any of your neighbors know you think may be interested or forward the info to people that live in Glendora.  Most people are unaware of this service, let people know.  :)
